How Do I Accept Images Into My Contest?

Last updated: June 15, 2021

There are many ways to accept images in your Competition. You can choose to accept images from a particular social media channel, or use import and submit media actions to accept images from multiple social media channels. You can also accept images through file or URL submission.

Here are all your options:

File Upload

On the Business plan or above, you can ask for entrants to submit image, video or doc files. By default, the maximum file size is 50mb per upload.

Import Actions

On the Business plan or above, you can automatically import media from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr & YouTube.

With the import action, you can setup parameters for accepting images from social media automatically, so entrants don't have to submit their images through the Competition widget.

Submit Media

On the Pro plan or above, you can ask entrants to submit images from multiple sources. This action supports image submissions from Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

On the Business plan or above, this action includes the file upload method.

Select a Photo on Twitter

On the Pro plan or above, you can ask entrants to submit images from their Twitter account.

Select a Photo on Instagram

On the Pro plan or above, you can ask entrants to submit images from their Instagram account.

Select a Photo on Facebook

On the Pro plan or above, you can ask entrants to submit images from their Facebook account.

Submit URL

If none of the methods above suit your use case, you can consider the submit URL action, which allows entrants to submit a link for an entry.

For example, entrants could submit their entries from a photo hosting platform like Unsplash. Bear in mind that you will need to manually validate the links submitted if using this option. We recommend setting up domain restrictions to reduce low-quality entries.
