The experience

Set on Piccadilly, with Green Park just across the road, The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences is close to some of the capital’s best-loved landmarks and cultural spots, including Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, St James’s Park, Bond Street, the Royal Academy and Fortnum & Mason. Behind its striking facade, the hotel brings together art deco-inspired interiors, warm British hospitality and the quiet comfort of a well-established Mayfair address. Days can be spent taking long walks through the Royal Parks, shopping in Mayfair and Knightsbridge, visiting galleries or taking in a show in the West End — before returning to the hotel for dinner, drinks or some relaxing time in the spa.

The prize

The winner and their guest will enjoy three nights in a double room, receiving breakfast each morning. Over the course of the stay the winner will also enjoy afternoon tea at the hotel — a signature experience served in true British style — as well as dinner at 116 at the Athenaeum, the hotel’s contemporary British restaurant. The prize — valid from September 2026 to September 2027, excluding Christmas and New Year — is subject to availability and must be booked at least 30 days in advance.
