You can even require users to complete other actions to unlock your timed bonus entries, increasing engagement and boosting campaign entries.

Today we've launched our first version of Public Giveaways - a way for Gleam to showcase some of the best giveaways from customers on a monthly basis.

Our plan is to iterate on this idea to eventually bring together an ecosystem that unites brands and consumers together in a way that is both unique & rewarding.

If you're interested in having your campaign featured please contact Support, you must have run at least 1 campaign with the winners announced and prize verified to qualify. Please note we cannot feature every campaign we receive but you will receive a reply if selected.

Improved Phone Number Field for User Details Form

We have improved the phone number field to allow users to pick their country code using a dropdown. You no longer need to validate the field using regex, and we'll pre-select the country code based on the user's location.

New Discord Actions

We're thrilled to announce 2 powerful new Discord actions for your Competitions & Rewards: Discord Server Boost and Discord Server Role. These features unlock exciting possibilities for deeper community engagement and rewarding your most dedicated members.

Discord Server Boost: Motivate your community to Boost your server by rewarding them with Competition entries! This incentivizes members to come together and unlock performance boost and new features, which directly translates to a more vibrant community.
Discord Server Role: Recognize and reward your loyal supporters! Grant Competition entries to users with specific server roles. This allows you to create exclusive experiences for dedicated members and incentivize them to participate in specific server activities, such as verifying their identity, becoming a paid customer, becoming an affiliate, etc.

Here are some ideas on how you can take your Discord campaigns to the next level:

Multiple Server Rewards: Run Competitions where users can earn entries for joining multiple Discord servers you manage. This can be a great strategy for organizations with various sub-communities.
Create Entry Tiers with Roles: Assign different entry weights to different Discord server roles. For example, moderator roles might unlock more entries compared to standard roles.

Changes to Facebook Imports

Due to recent API changes from Facebook, the Facebook Post to Page import source will now be replaced with Facebook Page Mentions.

This change will affect Competition users who are importing Facebook Posts as entries, or Gallery users who are importing images or videos posted on their Facebook Page to a gallery.

The replacement feature allows you to import Facebook posts which mention a specific Facebook page you manage. You can also filter posts based on specified hashtags.

This means that rather than having Facebook users post on the Facebook Page you manage, from now on they will have to mention your Page and post on their own feed. Then, you can import these posts automatically to Competitions or Galleries as usual.
