The destination

Set on a long sandy beach overlooking the Ionian Sea, The Westin Resort Costa Navarino lies on a prime stretch of coastline in the Peloponnesian region of Messinia, southwestern Greece. Its family rooms and suites — inspired by traditional Messinian architecture — come with spacious living areas, private pools and terraces ideal for taking in views of the lush natural landscape. Guests can look forward to a multitude of local experiences, from traditional olive harvesting and village cooking classes to astronomy nights and philosophy walks. Other activities include watersports, cycling, tennis, golf and hiking. You’ll also find more than 40 places to eat, including homely restaurants serving typical Messinian cookery.

The prize

The winner and guest will enjoy four nights at The Westin Resort Costa Navarino in an infinity room. The half-board stay includes breakfasts and one other daily meal, plus airport transfers, an olive-oil tasting and a biking tour to Voidokilia Beach. They’ll receive two return flights from the UK to Kalamata International Airport, courtesy of Jet2 Holidays. Blackout dates include peak summer (27 July to 1 September) and bank holidays.
