Which Gleam Plans Include Viral Share?
The Viral Share Action is included on the Pro, Business and Premium plans. The Free and Hobby plans do not include it. If you cannot see the action in your competition's action list, the plan is the first thing to check.
On a paid plan the action appears in the How to Enter tab like any other entry method, with its own entries value, share buttons and lock settings.
How many paid giveaways use it
Among paid-plan Gleam giveaways started between September 2025 and August 2026, 41 percent offered Viral Share, from the Gleam Giveaway Benchmarks 2026, Edition 2. Pro giveaways offered it on 42.5 percent and Business on 39.1 percent, so most paid organizers still leave it switched off. Adoption varied more by industry than by plan, from 64.5 percent among hobbies, crafts and DIY brands to 26 percent among B2B organizers.
Why the plan line shapes the research
Because the action is a paid-plan feature, every comparison in the referral benchmarks is between paid-plan giveaways. A comparison of giveaways with the action against giveaways without it across all plans would mostly measure the difference between plans, since Free and Hobby giveaways are smaller on average, and the report avoids that.
