What Entry Methods Are Available?

Gleam Competitions supports 110+ entry methods across email, social, video, gaming, and custom actions. Most are verified automatically, but a handful (flagged below) require manual winner verification before announcing your winner, due to API limitations on those platforms.

Actions requiring manual verification

X actions can't be checked automatically since X changed its API. Gleam can confirm the entrant opened the page, but not that the follow, post or repost happened. The same limitation applies to TikTok follows, Instagram follows and comments, and Threads follows if you use them via a Custom Action. Cross-check the winner's social handle on the platform before announcing them, and pair these with auto-verifiable actions like Subscribe Action or Visit Action as primary qualifying entries.

Actions no longer available

Instagram deprecated their photo/media access API on 4 December 2024. "Select an Instagram Photo or Video" is now part of Submit Media, which takes photos and videos from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or a file upload.
