Can I Hide the End Date of a Competition?
Yes, if you're on the Business Plan or above. There's no on/off switch for the end date, but our Custom CSS hides the countdown box in the widget's top row.
- Open your Competition and go to the Design tab.
- Scroll to Custom Styles (CSS).
- Paste in this CSS, which comes from our Custom CSS docs:
.red-square { width: 50% }
.square-row .blue-square { width: 50% }
.square-row .purple-square { display: none !important }
- Check the widget preview. The time left box disappears and the other two boxes fill the row.
Your Competition still ends on the date you set on the Setup tab. The CSS only hides it from entrants, and it only applies to this Competition.
Tip
Don't know your end date yet? Set any future date as a placeholder. You can change the dates at any point, even while the Competition is running.
Not on the Business Plan? You can't hide the end date, but you can extend it whenever you like.
