Does Editing a Competition Change its QR Code?

No. Your QR code sends people to your Competition's landing page, and that link stays the same when you edit the Competition. If you rename it, the landing page URL changes but the old one redirects, so codes you've already printed keep working.

A few things to know:

  • The QR code appears on the Promote tab once you've saved the Competition. A draft doesn't have one yet.
  • You can change actions, prizes and dates after printing. Entrants see the changes as soon as you save.
  • A duplicated Competition is a new campaign with its own landing page, so it gets its own QR code. Swap the code on anything you print if you move to the copy.

The page your code opens is covered in Hosted Landing Page.

Can I Edit A Current Competition?

You can modify your active Competitions to add or remove entry methods, change the campaign's end date and more.

How Do I Run A QR Code Contest?

Create a Competition, copy its QR code from the Promote tab and display it where people can scan it. The code opens your landing page so they can enter.
