How to Do an Instagram Giveaway to Gain Followers

Follower giveaways work best when entering takes seconds.

1. Show the prize in a clear image and put the entry steps, the deadline and who's eligible in the caption.
2. Add the Follow on Instagram Action to your campaign. Instagram doesn't let us check follows automatically, so entrants visit your profile and enter their username. Check the winner's handle against your followers before you announce.
3. Add a Visit a Profile or View a Post Action as another way in for people who don't want to follow.
4. Add the Subscribe Action to collect emails.
5. Include a release of Instagram by each entrant and say Instagram doesn't sponsor, endorse or run the promotion.
6. Don't ask anyone to tag people inaccurately in photos.
