Can I Run a Podcast Sweepstakes Without Violating Platform Rules?

Yes, if you reward people for discovering your show and never for ratings or reviews. Apple's Podcasts content guidelines say creators can't artificially increase or manipulate a podcast's follows, listens, ratings or reviews. Spotify defines an artificial stream as one that doesn't reflect genuine listening intent. Neither publishes giveaway rules that we could find.

1. On the How to Enter tab, add the Podcast action and paste your Podcast URL. Entrants get their entry for visiting your show. Podcast actions are on the Hobby Plan and above.
2. If you like, set After Visiting to ask a question about the show. It won't prove anyone subscribed, because we can't check podcast subscriptions.
3. Add Subscribe to a Newsletter, so you can tell entrants about new episodes.
4. Check your Terms & Conditions say how the winner is chosen.

Don't make a rating, a review or a paid subscription an entry, and never ask people to stream an episode on repeat.
