How Can I Draw a Giveaway Winner Live?
A live draw lets your audience watch the winner being picked, so nobody has to take your word for the result. In Gleam, you run one with Competitions Live Draw, a Quick Draw that pulls entries straight from your Gleam Competition.
- Click New Competition, then select New Quick Draw
- Choose Competitions Live Draw and select an active Competition (ended ones do not appear in the list)
- Enter the number of winners, then click Draw Winners
- Stream, screen share or record the draw, then contact your winners
The draw screen hides entrant email addresses, so you can share your screen without exposing anyone. When you are ready to get in touch, the ℹ button next to a winner reveals their contact details. Every draw also emails you a winners list, and Quick Draws are removed after 30 days, so keep that email.
If your giveaway ran as several Competitions, for example one per region or language, the Multiple Competitions Draw groups every entrant into one pool and draws from the total.
