How Do I Turn On 2FA?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a one-time code from an authenticator app in addition to your password.
To turn on 2FA, follow these steps:
-
Open your User settings
Click on your name in the sidebar to open your user profile. -
Go to the Security tab
Inside your User settings, select the Security tab. This is where authentication and account security options are managed.
-
Click on your 2FA status
Select the option to enable two-factor authentication. -
Scan the QR code
Use an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy to scan the QR code shown on screen. -
Confirm setup
Enter your account password and the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app. -
Enable 2FA
Click Enable to finish setup.
Once enabled, you’ll be asked for an authenticator code each time you sign in, helping protect your account from unauthorised access.
