How Do You Validate Entries in a Facebook Giveaway?
You can validate entries in two ways.
- Let the fraud filter work. It checks every entry and marks suspicious ones as Invalid. Review them on the Actions / Entries tab before you draw.
- Check the entries yourself. If an entry didn't follow your rules, invalidate it. You can also invalidate and repick a winner after a draw.
For Facebook specifically, the Like on Facebook Action has entrants sign in with Facebook so you can check later whether they followed your page. We can't confirm follows automatically. Facebook Comments imports, on the Business Plan and above, let you filter comments by hashtag or word to match your rules.
