Can I Require Entrants to Follow My Account?
Yes. Make the follow Action Mandatory and entrants have to complete it before they can see the rest of your Actions.
- Open your Competition and go to the How to Enter tab.
- Add the follow Action with Add a Way to Enter, for example Follow on X, Instagram or Twitch.
- Under Advanced, switch on Mandatory and save.
Want them to follow more than one account? Add a follow Action for each one and make every one Mandatory. Entrants complete them all before anything else unlocks. Mandatory Actions work on every plan.
Gleam can't confirm every follow. Twitch follows are checked with Twitch. X and TikTok make entrants log in, so you know the account is theirs, but not that they followed. Instagram and Threads follows aren't checked at all, so check your winners by hand.
Tip
Not everyone has an account on every network, so a Mandatory follow can cost you entrants who'd happily complete your other Actions.
