Is Gleam Legitimate?
Yes. Businesses and creators use Gleam to run giveaways, competitions and reward programs. We've done it for over a decade, with 2.6M+ signups, for everyone from small creators to brands like Shopify.
The business or creator hosting the campaign does. They set the prize, draw the winners with Gleam's tools and deliver the prize (we don't send prizes). We generate Terms & Conditions for every Competition, so check them to see who's running it and what the rules are.
On the Business Plan and above, hosts can also set a Fraud Level, so Gleam invalidates suspicious entries before winners are drawn.
Your entry details go to the host, who is the Data Controller. We're the Data Processor, handling that data on their behalf, and we process it in line with GDPR. We also hold a SOC 2 Type II report. Our Privacy Policy and Security page have the detail, or you can email privacy@gleam.io.
If a Gleam campaign looks wrong, report it to us with a link. We can disable campaigns and suspend hosts who break our Terms. Unsure about one before you enter? Check the host's website and social accounts, and whether they've announced past winners.
Won and still waiting on your prize? Contact the host first, since they deliver it (their details are in the campaign's Terms & Conditions). If they don't reply, report the campaign to us.
