Why Does Facebook Login Fail in Chrome?
Facebook login sometimes fails in Chrome, and the quickest fix is to try another browser such as Firefox, Safari or Edge.
The failure is intermittent and relates to how Chrome handles third-party cookies during Facebook's login redirect. It affects some people and not others.
- Try a different browser, such as Firefox, Safari or Edge.
- If you want to stay in Chrome, clear your cookies and try again.
- Turn off any ad blockers or privacy extensions, then try again.
- For Facebook Actions that need a login, use a browser other than Chrome for now.
Your login method is set when your Gleam account is created. An account made with an email and password can't switch to Facebook login later, and an account made with Facebook can't switch to email without creating a new account.
