How to Promote My Business in a Subreddit

Start with the subreddit's own rules, in the sidebar or wiki. Some allow promotion on set days and some ban it completely, and moderators decide what counts as spam in their community. Reddit's spam policy also asks you to be thoughtful about how often you post links to a business you run.

If a subreddit allows it:

1. Join the conversation first. Comment and help people before you post about your business.
2. Say you're the owner when you share something of your own.
3. Lead with something useful, like a guide or a lesson learned, and put the offer at the end.
4. Reply to comments, including the critical ones.

For a giveaway, host it on a Gleam landing page and share the link only where it's allowed. The Reddit Visit action sends entrants to your subreddit, and Check Subscriber Status shows whether they're subscribed. Reddit actions are on the Hobby Plan and above.
