How Do I Run a Successful Goodreads Giveaway?
This covers a giveaway you run on Gleam that asks entrants to act on Goodreads.
- Add to Shelf: entrants add your book to their Goodreads shelf, which is Want to Read by default. You only need your book's Goodreads URL.
- Follow an Author: once entrants sign in, we follow your author page for them.
Add the Subscribe Action for your newsletter and Viral Share so readers invite friends. Then promote the campaign on your author site, newsletter, social channels and in reader communities in your genre.
Check where you can ship the prize before you launch. You can limit entry by country. The settings are in Goodreads Actions.
