What Will Appear on My Credit Card Statement?

Gleam subscription charges appear on your credit card statement as GLEAM.IO. Payments are processed by Stripe on Gleam's behalf, so depending on your bank you may see a Stripe reference alongside the descriptor.

If you don't recognise the charge

Quick things to check before contacting your bank:

  • Is your subscription still active? Sign in to Gleam, click your profile name on the sidebar, then click the Billing tab to see your current plan and most recent invoice. Many customers sign up for a one-off campaign (a Christmas giveaway, a launch competition) and don't realise the subscription keeps renewing until they cancel it.
  • Are you on a yearly plan? Yearly subscriptions show one larger annual charge — easy to miss if you weren't expecting it.
  • Did you recently upgrade? A mid-cycle upgrade triggers a prorated charge plus the next normal renewal — you may see two charges in the same period.

Need help sorting it out?

Email support with the date and amount of the charge — we can pull up the matching invoice from your Stripe record and confirm what it relates to in minutes. If the charge was made by mistake (for example, you intended to cancel but only paused your campaign), we handle these case by case and refunds are usually possible.

Please contact us before disputing with your bank — a chargeback locks the dispute with the card network and complicates direct refunds. Emailing Gleam first is faster.
