Sticky vs Floating Popup: Which Is Better?
Use a sticky bar for an offer that stays visible, and a floating popup for a moment you want to catch.
Sticky: In Gleam, a bar's Display Mode can be Sticky (moves with the scroll), Static (stays where it is on the page) or Scroll (hides when scrolling down). You choose Position as top or bottom. It suits coupons, sale announcements and email capture that should be there all the time. See the floating top bar, bottom bar and sale notification templates.
Floating: The Floating template is a better fit for a time-sensitive promotion or a gentle sales nudge. Pair it with Schedule rules on the Targeting tab, so it appears only during the sale.
You don't have to choose forever. Run one for a week and swap, using Capture's A/B testing to compare. Browse all Capture Templates to pick a starting point.
