How Do I Choose a Winner For Photo Contests?
To pick a winner for your photo contest, you can either draw winners randomly, manually through a judge panel, or by popular vote from an audience.
When you are ready to wrap up your photo contest, you will need to pick a winner. There are a few different ways you can pick winners for your photo contests with Gleam:
If you would like to pick a winner for your photo contest at random all you need to do is go to the Winners tab of your campaign and click Draw Winners.
If the winner you drew doesn't meet your photo contest's eligibility requirements you can easily re-pick the winner by clicking Winner in the Status column and selecting Re-pick win.
If you are judging your photo contest based on merit or skill, you will likely want to manually pick the best submission as your winner.
All you need to do is find your winning submission in the Actions tab of your campaign and select Make Winner in the Status column.
You can also pick winners for your photo contests by letting your audience vote for their favourite submissions and choosing the photo with the most votes as your winner.
Then, you'll manually pick the winner from the Actions tab.
In order to do this you will need to display your submissions in a Gallery and allow users to vote on them. You can learn everything you need to know about running photo voting contests right here.
Once your photo voting contests has closed, sort your Gallery by Most Popular to find the submission with the most votes, match the submission in the Actions tab of your campaign and select Make Winner in the Status column.
To pick a winner for your campaign, you can either draw winners randomly for chance-based campaigns, or manually for skill-based campaigns.
