Why Does the Date of Birth Field Reject Entrants?
Usually it's one of two things. The entrant is younger than your Minimum Age, or they've typed the date in a different order from the field's Format.
Both settings are on the Pre-Entry tab, in the Minimum Age field or any date of birth field you've added under Add Custom Fields:
Anyone born after your cut-off can't enter, and the widget shows them an age error. Make sure the number matches your terms.
You can choose from:
- By Region, with separate day, month and year boxes
- DD/MM/YYYY
- MM/DD/YYYY
- Checkbox, where entrants tick to confirm they're old enough
With a fixed format, someone in the US who types 12/25/1990 into a DD/MM/YYYY field gets rejected. By Region avoids that, because each part has its own box.
