How Do I Change the Competition Widget's Width?
You don't set a width in Gleam. The widget sizes itself to the element you paste the embed code into, and looks best at 540px wide. To make it wider or narrower on desktop, change that element's width in your page builder or theme.
When the container or screen is 420px wide or less, entrants see an Enter Competition button by default. It opens a mobile-friendly landing page where they can enter:
To show the full widget on narrow screens instead:
- Open your Competition's install options and choose Embed in a Page or Blog Post.
- Untick Take mobile users to a hosted landing page.
- Copy the new embed code and replace the old code on your page.
With the button off, the widget shrinks down to 320px wide. How it looks at that size depends on your site's mobile layout, so check it on a phone. More in Mobile Behavior.
