How Can I Make My Entry Form User-Friendly?

Every field you add costs you entrants, so start from the default (name and email) and add only what you'll use.

These are the Pre-Entry tab settings that matter most:

  1. Login options: under Allow login with, Email, Facebook, X, Google and Apple are on by default. Remove any your audience won't use, so the list stays short.
  2. Automatic Entry: with Pre-Entry Login on, turn on Automatic Entry to award an entry the moment someone logs in.
  3. Minimum Age: adds a date of birth field only when you need an age gate.
  4. Custom fields: Add Field collects extras like a phone number or address, on the Business plan and above. Collect them only from winners if you can.
  5. Fraud Level: CAPTCHA only challenges entrants who look suspicious, so genuine entrants rarely meet it.
  6. Language: the widget and its emails can be translated into 27 languages.

Keep Action instructions short, and put your best entry method first, since entrants see them in the order you set. For questions, use the choice formats from the Question Actions rather than free text, which is slower to answer on a phone.

Check it on your own phone, because that's where most people will use it.
