Can I Run Typeform Giveaways on Mobile?
A Typeform giveaway works on mobile, but there are a couple of steps. The Gleam widget shows an Enter Competition button on small screens, and it opens a mobile-friendly landing page. We can't speak for how your own Typeform looks on a phone, so open it on one and test.
How the action works:
- You connect Typeform under Settings > Integrations.
- You add the Typeform action and paste the public URL of your form, which you find under Distribute > Share your Typeform in Typeform.
- Entrants open the form, complete it and come back to Gleam to click Continue.
We verify the submission by checking the Typeform for the email address the entrant used to log in to Gleam. That leads to the two common problems:
- Your Typeform must have an Email field. Without one, we can't check the entry.
- The entrant has to use the same email in Typeform that they used for Gleam. The action shows them their logged-in email so they can copy it.
On a phone, people switch between apps, so keep the form short and tell entrants to return to the entry page when they're done. Try the Typeform Survey Giveaway template to see it.
