Can I Use Gleam Worldwide?
Yes. A new Competition is open to entrants in every country by default, so there's nothing to change to run it worldwide.
To limit where people can enter:
- Open your Competition and go to the Pre-Entry tab.
- Under Languages and Locations, choose Include or Exclude and pick the countries or continents.
People outside your allowed countries see a message that the Competition isn't available where they are. Gleam works out location from each entrant's IP address, so it can't target a state or a city. Allowed Locations is on the Pro Plan and above.
In the same section, the Language dropdown translates the widget's fixed text and emails. Text you've written yourself stays as you wrote it, so translate your prize and Action titles yourself. A language other than English needs the Pro Plan and above.
