What Happens If You Buy Facebook Likes?
You get likes from fake or inactive accounts. They don't comment, click or buy, so every post's engagement rate drops: the same real interactions now sit against a bigger audience. Partners and advertisers who check that rate will see the gap.
It's also against the rules. Meta's Spam policy bans buying, selling or exchanging likes and follows, and counts a prize for liking your Page as a violation too. Either puts your Page at risk.
To grow with real people instead, run a giveaway that sends them to your Page:
- In a Competition, go to the How to Enter tab and add Visit a Page with your Page URL. Entrants land on your Page, and liking it stays optional.
- Add Subscribe to a Newsletter, so you keep the contact even if they never like a post.
- Pick a prize only your audience would want, which keeps prize hunters away.
