Yes. A Goodreads giveaway is a free sweepstakes. Goodreads picks winners at random from eligible entries, and no purchase is needed to enter or win.
What to know if you're entering:
- You must live in the US or Canada and have a Goodreads account plus an Amazon.com or Amazon.ca account.
- It's one entry per person and household.
- Entering adds the book to your Want to Read shelf, and it has to stay there until the giveaway ends or your entry doesn't count.
If you're the author or publisher, you're the sponsor, so the prize is yours to fulfil. Goodreads says prizes are delivered by Amazon or by the sponsor, to the address the winner chooses. The full rules are in the Goodreads Giveaway Terms & Conditions.
