Can I Use This Capture to Grow My Email List?
Yes. A coupon popup that asks for an email turns a hesitating shopper into a lead.
- Create a Capture and choose the Coupon type with Email Signup as the User Action.
- Add your code. One shared code can be claimed many times. Individual codes end the Capture once they've all been claimed.
- On the Targeting tab, add a trigger. On Exit suits cart pages.
- Use a Selector rule to limit it to the cart, and Times Shown so it doesn't nag.
- Connect your email provider in Settings > Integrations, so new subscribers sync to your list.
- Add the consent wording your region needs to the form text.
Your Leads report lists everyone who claimed. You can email them an abandoned-cart reminder or your next campaign.
A caution about the coupon. If the code is public, people who don't sign up can still use it elsewhere, so use individual codes if you want one claim per person.
