How Do I Use Gated Content To Drive Album Download?
Gleam Rewards holds a download back until fans complete the actions you choose, then hands it over straight away.
- Start from the Album Promotion Reward template.
- On the How to Redeem tab, add two or three actions, like Spotify's Listen to Music or Podcasts for your first single, Follow an Artist on Spotify, and Visit a YouTube Channel. Set how many fans must complete.
- On the Reward tab, choose Downloads. Add a direct link to the file (a zip or mp3, say) or upload it, and set the Claim Text for the button, like "Download the Stems".
- On the Pre-Entry tab, ask for email so you can tell fans when the full album lands.
Once a fan finishes the required actions, the download button appears above the actions.
Offer something they can't get elsewhere: an early single, an instrumental or a stem pack. Reward settings are in Reward Codes / Links.
