How Do I Run a QR Code Contest?

  1. Create a Competition, or start from the QR Code Contest template.
  2. On the How to Enter tab, keep it short, since people are entering on a phone. An email signup plus one or two other actions is plenty.
  3. Once it's live, open the Promote tab and copy or download the QR code.

  1. Print it where people wait or browse: counters, packaging, flyers and event stands.

Anyone who scans it lands on your Competition's landing page. The code shows your site's header logo in the middle, or your Square Icon if you've added one in site settings.

Tip

At an event where entrants share the venue WiFi, turn on Event Mode. It switches off the fraud checks that flag shared-IP entries as duplicates, and logs the current entrant out whenever the page refreshes.

Does Editing A Competition Change Its QR Code?

No. Your QR code opens your Competition's landing page, and editing or renaming the Competition keeps it working. A duplicated Competition gets a new code.
