Can I Require All Actions to Be Completed Before Awarding Entries?

Question

Accepted Answer

Every Gleam action must award at least one entry; zero-entry actions aren't possible. To ensure only participants who complete all required steps enter the draw, use a locked Bonus Action as the final step and draw winners from that action only. Read on for the full setup.

In Gleam, every action is worth at least one entry. You cannot create an action worth zero entries, or hold back entries until every action is complete.

You can still limit your prize draw to entrants who finished every step. Set your required actions as mandatory, then add a final Bonus Action that stays locked until those actions are done. Rename it to something clear, such as "Complete Your Entry", and say in your campaign description and terms that entrants must complete it to be eligible for the draw.

When it is time to pick a winner, export the entries for that final action only. Copy the names or emails from the export into the Random Name Picker, one per line, and draw from that filtered list. Here is the Random Name Picker drawing from a list:

Only entrants who unlocked and completed the final action make it onto the list, so only they can win. If a winner turns out to be ineligible, click Repick Winner to draw again from the same list.
