Do You Offer an Add to Wishlist Action for Steam?
Steam does not currently allow wishlist tracking through its API. Read on to explore alternative actions you can use to encourage users to add your game title to their Steam wishlist in Gleam campaigns.
At this time, Gleam does not offer a dedicated Add to Wishlist action for Steam. Although we understand this is a popular request, Steam's API does not currently provide any public endpoints that allow third-party platforms like Gleam to confirm whether a user has wishlisted a game.
That said, you can still encourage users to add a game to their wishlist using other available actions.
One common method is to use the Visit a Page action to redirect users to the specific Steam game page. This approach will not track whether the wishlist action was completed, however. Users will receive their entry for simply visiting the link.
Alternatively, the Custom Action can offer a more interactive experience. This action allows you to pose a verification question such as, "Did you add the game to your wishlist?" Users can respond to confirm, which adds an extra layer of engagement, even if it is not independently verifiable.
If you are looking for other Steam-related actions you can track directly, such as playing a game or joining a group, you can explore the full list of Steam integration options.
