What’s the Best Way to Launch an NFT Giveaway?
Build your NFT giveaway around our Crypto Wallet Action, because you can't send a prize without an address. Then add a few optional actions that point entrants at your project.
- On the How to Enter tab, click Add a Way to Enter and add Crypto Wallet.
- Give it a title, set how many entries it's worth and add a description. A reminder to double-check the address saves headaches later.
- Choose the Address Type you'll accept: ETH / BEP-20, BTC, BEP-2 or Other.
- Under Advanced, switch on Mandatory so nobody can enter without an address.
Each address can only be used once by default, which stops one person entering with a single wallet over and over. Switch on Accept Duplicate Addresses only if entrants might genuinely share a wallet.
- A Visit Action pointing at your mint or project page
- Follow on X, which we can't verify automatically, so check winners by hand
- Discord Entry, so people can enter with their Discord account
- Join a Server, switched to Mandatory, if the giveaway is for members of your Discord server
- A Viral Share Action for referrals
Caution
Pitch the giveaway to your members, never as a reason to join the server. As the server owner, you're responsible for following Discord's rules.
