What Should I Do if My Email is Already in Use?

You will need to log out of your current account and sign in using the email that is already in use. It may be connected to one of your social media accounts.

When entering a contest you are able to change the email address you are entering with by clicking Edit next to your login details.

Gleam Entrant Change Login Details

If you attempt to change the email address you are entering with you may get an error that the email address is already in use.

Gleam Email Already in Use

This means you have previously created or entered a Gleam campaign using the email address you want to change to. Since that account already exists in Gleam, you cannot update the email address on your current account to one that is already in use elsewhere.

Instead, you will need to Logout of your current account, and sign in again with the email address you want to use.

Then, you can use the Edit screen to remove any unwanted associated social accounts.
