How Do I Grow My Discord Server Using Rewards?
Not by rewarding joins. Discord's Platform Manipulation Policy bans invite rewards and inducing people to join a server, so a Reward can't be the reason someone joins. What Rewards can do is thank the members you already have, which keeps them active.
- Create a Reward and choose the perk on the Reward tab, like a download, a discount code or early access.
- On the How to Redeem tab, add Join a Server and switch on Mandatory. We check with Discord's API that each person claiming is a member of your server, and refuse the claim if they're not.
- Add a Subscribe action, so you can tell members about new drops outside Discord.
- Share the Reward link only inside your server, like in a members-only channel, so non-members never see the offer.
Caution
Pitch the perk as a thank-you to members, never a reason to join. As the server owner, you're responsible for following Discord's rules.
