How Do I Run an “Answer a Question to Win” Giveaway?
Add an Answer a Question Action to your Competition and cap the length with Validate Answers, so entrants can't go over your limit.
- On the How to Enter tab, add Answer a Question.
- Type your Question, and put the rules in Instructions ("Tell us in 25 words or less...").
- Switch on Validate Answers and set the Max word count. Entrants can't submit a longer answer.
- Add other Actions alongside it if you want more from each entrant, such as an email signup.
- When it ends, read the answers on the Actions / Entries tab and pick the best one as your winner (manual winners are on the Pro Plan and above).

A contest judged on answers is a game of skill. Publish your judging criteria in your Terms & Conditions, and judge against them rather than drawing at random. This isn't legal advice.
