Our Shopify integration also allows you to easily install the Competitions widget on your Shopify store.

Shopify integrations are available on the Pro plan & above.

The first step in integrating Shopify is visiting the Shopify store and installing the Gleam app.

You will then see the Gleam Competitions app appear inside your Shopify admin area, ready for you to install:

You can then see Shopify connected to your Gleam account under Settings > Integrations in the Gleam app:

Once you have activated your integration with Shopify, you can automatically sync emails from your Gleam Competitions, Rewards and Capture campaigns to your Shopify customer list by finding Shopify under Settings > Integrations and selecting Sync Gleam subscribers to Shopify customer list.

Once enabled, Gleam subscribers will be automatically synced to your Shopify customer list via:

• The Subscribe action for Competitions campaigns
• The Subscribe action for Rewards campaigns
• Emails from Capture campaigns

You can then optionally add tags to Gleam subscribers so you can easily identify and filter these users in your Shopify customer list.

Once you have enabled Add Subscribe action entrants as customers you can easily send emails to your Shopify customer list from Competitions or Rewards campaigns by using our Subscribe action.

By default, emails will be sent to your Shopify customer list with the optional tags provided in Settings > Integrations. If you would like to use different tags for an individual campaign you can change Use site settings to Add different tags and add your preferred tags.

Once you have enabled Add Subscribe action entrants as customers you can easily send emails to your Shopify customer list from your Capture opt-in forms.

By default, emails will be sent to your Shopify customer list with the optional tags provided in Settings > Integrations. If you would like to use different tags for an individual Capture you can change Use site settings to Add different tags and add your preferred tags.

In order to test if emails successfully sync with your Shopify customer list you need to do the following:

• Created a Competition with a Subscribe action.
• Ensure that this action is linked to Shopify.
• Manually complete the Subscribe action from your Competition dashboard.
• The action will become invalidated (since we automatically invalidate admin actions).
• Go to the Actions tab for that Competitions and make your action valid.
• It should appear in your Shopify customer list within a few minutes.
