Pre-Entry Tab
The Pre-Entry tab controls how people log in to claim your Reward, what details you collect, and who can claim it.
Rewards are anonymous by default. People can claim without telling you who they are, unless one of your actions asks for their details.
Here's someone claiming a Reward by answering a question:
On your Actions / Entries page you'll see the answer, but the person is anonymous:
Choose which logins to offer under Allow login with...: Email, Facebook, X, Google and Apple. They're all on by default.
Remove a login type by clicking the x on its tag. The circled x at the right end clears every tag, so avoid it unless that's what you want.
The Rewards widget shows every way to claim straight away. Turn on Pre-Entry Login to make people log in (or give their details) before they see them.
For Rewards, Capture User Details needs to be on too.
Turn on Capture User Details and everyone has to give their email address before they claim. Every claim on your Actions tab is then linked to a real person:
If someone logs in with a social network, we fill in as much of the form as that network shares with us.
Turn on Contestant Verification to make people prove who they are before they claim, with a 4-digit code sent to their email address or phone. Phone verification needs a Twilio integration.
Name and email address are always there. Click Add Field to collect more, like a phone number, address or your own question (on the Business Plan & above).
Extra fields don't sync with email providers yet.
Turn on Minimum Age to set how old people need to be to claim. We add a date of birth field to the form, in UK or US format.
We support 27 languages out of the box. Pick one under Language and the widget and its emails are translated for you.
We don't translate text you've written yourself, only the fixed text in the widget and actions.
Your Reward is open worldwide by default. Use Include or Exclude locations to allow or block specific countries (not cities).
We use MaxMind to work out where each person is. It occasionally gets an IP address wrong, and people can check their IP and request a fix.
The Fraud Level slider sets how strictly we check claims. It's High by default, and the levels match Competitions: Off, Low, Medium, High and Very High.
Our team watches for fraud on every campaign. We may adjust your Fraud Level if it's blocking genuine people or letting too many suspicious claims through.
