Two Gaming Chairs, 475,000+ Actions
Twitch Kittens is a community of Twitch streamers. They ran two gaming chair giveaways with Gleam Competitions, and Entrants completed over 475,000 Actions, including over 100,000 Twitch Follow Actions and over 113,000 Twitter Follow Actions.
Below: how each giveaway was built, how it was promoted, and four things you can copy.
Who Twitch Kittens Are

Twitch Kittens is a streaming community that the streamer Khaljiit started in 2016. It began as a small, female-focused community and is now a Discord partner with two official Twitch teams and a presence at gaming conventions.
The purpose of the Twitch Community Kittens is to provide a haven for streamers, viewers, graphic artists, game developers and viewers. This is to be a place where streamers who cast under games, IRL, or creative can connect with one another, find new games to play, and make friends.
Their plans at the time included content creator workshops, community-wide servers, a community YouTube channel and communal events.

20 Ways to Enter, Then 37
Twitch Kittens wanted more followers and more revenue from subscriptions, donations and merchandise. Giveaways were how they went after both.
Khaljiit, the founder of Twitch Kittens, had already used Gleam to run giveaways before these two.
The first giveaway offered a DXRacer Gaming Chair and a year’s supply of Chipotle. It collected 240,201 Actions from 15,020 Entrants. The second offered an AKRacing SX Gaming Chair and collected 238,656 Actions from 12,348 Entrants.
These giveaways are to celebrate and provide value for our community while bringing in new members to the community in an attractive way.

Entrants completed Actions to enter the draw, and most Actions pointed at Twitch Kittens or one of their streamers. More Actions meant more entries. In each widget, completing a set number of Actions (14 in the first, 19 in the second) added 10,000 bonus entries.
Both giveaways centred on Twitch Follow and Twitter Follow Actions for Twitch Kittens and their streamers. Visit, Discord, YouTube, Instagram and newsletter Actions sat alongside them.

The second giveaway had 37 ways to enter against 20 in the first. The extra Actions added YouTube and Instagram for their streamers and more sharing on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Twitch Kittens rotated Twitch Follow Actions for different streamers through each giveaway so the entry widget stayed short. The first giveaway ran 14 Twitch Follow Actions.
Other Actions asked Entrants to join the Twitch Kittens Discord server, visit the Patreon page and the merchandise store, and subscribe to streamers’ YouTube channels.
YouTube has since banned rewarding subscriptions through third-party apps. A Visit Action can still send Entrants to a YouTube channel.

The Visit Actions sent Entrants to the Patreon page and the merchandise store, the two places Twitch Kittens earns money. Across both giveaways Entrants completed the Patreon Visit Action 16,344 times and the merchandise store Visit Action 16,274 times.
Entrants completed 17.5 Actions each on average. Gleam’s typical campaign gets 4.7 (Gleam campaign data, 2026). A gaming chair is a prize that matches the audience, and that may be part of why Entrants kept stacking Actions.

Promoting on Twitter With Streamers
Twitch Kittens put most of their promotion on Twitter, where they expected their audience to be.
Twitch Kittens tweeted an announcement for each giveaway, and many of their streamers retweeted it to their own followers.
Social media is often the common thread for Twitch streamers to interact with each other while looking for ways to improve so advertising a giveaway on social media leads to users joining and becoming part of our community.

Each Follow Action named a streamer, and many of those streamers retweeted the giveaway to their own followers.
We use our network of streamers to also promote the campaign so we not only attract our followers but all of theirs.

Twitch Kittens also tweeted reminders while each giveaway ran, and added Twitch Follow and Twitter Follow Actions for more streamers along the way.
Entrants promoted the giveaways too. Both had a Retweet Action for the announcement post.
The first giveaway had one Retweet @TwitchKittens Action, completed 10,194 times. The second had two, completed 8,715 and 5,824 times.
Entrants could also earn entries for liking and tagging friends on Twitter and Instagram, and for liking and sharing the giveaway on Facebook. None of these were required.
Across both giveaways Entrants completed the Retweet Actions 24,733 times, and the Like & Share on Facebook and Like & Tag Friends on Instagram Actions 11,033 times.
We use the users that enter to promote it through their own social media.

17.5 Actions per Entrant
The two giveaways had 105,288 Impressions and Entrants completed 478,857 Actions.
Conversion Rate (Entrants divided by Impressions) was 26% across both giveaways, close to the 26.9% of a typical Gleam campaign. Entrants completed 17.5 Actions each, against 4.7 for a typical campaign (Gleam campaign data, 2026).
First giveaway, 21 June to 22 July: 59,316 Impressions, 240,201 Actions, 15,020 Entrants, 25.32% Conversion Rate.

Actions peaked at about 72,000 on 6 July, with about 18,500 Impressions and about 7,000 Entrants that day (read from the chart). Khaljiit’s explanation is below.
I assume someone with a large following entered the giveaway and Retweeted it, many of us in the streaming industry are close and support each other with things like this! I have noticed that if someone like Dr Lupo even comments on a post of mine the engagement sky rockets, so if someone his size entered a giveaway it would cause something similar.

The second giveaway had no single spike like 6 July. Daily Actions ran from about 1,600 to about 21,700, with a second peak near 17,000 in mid-September (read from the chart). It had more sharing Actions than the first, which may have spread entries across more days.

Entrants completed Twitch Follow Actions 101,717 times and Twitter Follow Actions 113,741 times across 9 Twitter accounts. On Khaljiit’s own channels they completed Subscribe To Khaljiit On Twitch 282 times and Subscribe To Khaljiit On Youtube 13,713 times.
Entrants also completed the newsletter Action 8,305 times and the Twitch Kittens Discord join Action 7,801 times. The Patreon and merchandise store Visit Actions were each completed about 16,300 times.
The results have been great, our social media and discord has really blown up in a positive way, and we have gained a lot of new members.

Actions completed in each giveaway:

Rows labelled Deleted are Actions Twitch Kittens removed once they’d run their course, so each giveaway could feature different streamers without a long entry list.

Khaljiit on viewership:
[The campaigns] ended up giving me higher viewer engagement and more people chatted in my streams than normal. I can confidently say that most people experience higher average viewers with successful Gleam giveaways.

Key Growth Takeaways
Four things Twitch Kittens did that you can copy.
24,733 Retweets on Twitter
Nobody enters a giveaway they haven’t seen, so promotion decides how many Entrants you get.
Streamers depend on a personal connection with their audience, so announce the giveaway the way you’d talk on stream.
Twitter worked for Twitch Kittens because Entrants could share the giveaway with one Retweet and many streamers were already there.
In Gleam you give entries for sharing your post with the Tweet and Retweet Actions.

Across both giveaways Entrants completed the Retweet Actions 24,733 times. The announcement tweet shown here had 9.6K Retweets, 3.3K likes and 1.6K replies.
Ask a Bigger Streamer to Share It
Actions peaked at about 72,000 on 6 July. Khaljiit’s guess is that a streamer with a large following entered and retweeted the giveaway, and nobody confirmed who. The one influencer Retweet in the screenshots (JoeGekko, tweet dated Jun 22) lines up with the smaller early peak of about 16,000 Actions in late June.
Ask a bigger streamer to share your giveaway.
A shout-out on stream, a Retweet or a bigger role in the promotion are all fair asks, and the bigger the ask the more you’ll need to offer back.
If you don’t know a bigger streamer yet, message a few. You can offer to host their stream when you’re offline, Retweet their posts or add a Follow Action for their channel.
Pick Actions That Match Your Goal
Decide what you want from the giveaway before you pick Actions.
The primary goals of Twitch Kittens’ giveaways were to:
Attract more viewers
Increase their social presence
Drive revenue
Twitch Kittens used Twitch Follow, Twitter Follow and Visit Actions, and the Visit Actions pointed at the Patreon page and the merchandise store.

Match the Action to the goal:
More viewers: Twitch Follow and YouTube Visit Actions
More social followers: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Discord Actions
More revenue: Visit Action for a store or website, Patreon Action for your Patreon page
Keep Entrants Watching After the Giveaway
Followers from a giveaway only stay if the stream gives them a reason.
Khaljiit reports higher viewer engagement and more chatting during the giveaways (quote above).

New social followers need posts to see, and you’ll need to keep promoting the stream to turn those followers into viewers.
The biggest advice I could give to a streamer is spend just as much time on social media and community building than you do on your stream. You aren’t just a streamer, you are a brand. Creating the brand on every social media will create a far stronger web than a single thread on Twitch.

If your goal is sales or donations, the page you send Entrants to has to do the converting.
Twitch Kittens sent Entrants to the Patreon page and the merchandise store. Khaljiit’s figures for the first month are in the quote above.
The Twitch Kittens Patreon page in the screenshot showed 103 patrons and a goal 71% complete.

The merchandise store sells shirts from $25 and a zip hoodie at $68 (screenshots).
