Contestant authentication on your campaigns is now more reliable 🥳
We’ve rolled out improvements to the contestant authentication flow that reduce overall auth-related errors from around 10% to under 1%.
Because the contestant experience matters, this release focuses on removing common points of friction and making sign-in behave more predictably across different browsers and account states.
What’s improved
- Fewer blocked auth windows: We’ve reduced failures caused by browser popup and auth window restrictions, with safer fallbacks that keep contestants moving.
- Better handling of unusual account states: Clearer detection and handling for accounts that are suspended or in abnormal statuses, so contestants aren’t left stuck in a confusing loop.
- Smarter session management: Improved session validation and recovery to prevent silent timeouts and reduce “try again” scenarios during entry.
